This Nissan Murano came to me with some very rough-feeling paint. Lots of embedded iron contamination and built-up deposits. After I was done the paint was smoother than glass.

The before pictures really don’t demonstrate the issue, which was iron contamination and a mineral buildup. It honestly looked pretty good before I started. But the paint was very rough even after a contact wash.
I was able to correct this with an iron decontamination spray and second contact wash, followed by a clay bar and light polish.
