This summer we entered our WRX in the Camp Phoenix Runway Car Show in Summerside. Here are some photos of the preparation and from the show.
First up was to re-paint the brakes. The WRX Sport-Tech RS includes upgraded brakes over the standard WRX, and they’re painted red from the factory. The original paint was getting chipped and faded, so I touched them up, and painted the rotor hubs too.
Next on the list was to fully go over the car, inside and out. Undercarriage wash, wheels-off wash, paint decontamination, light polish, wax, interior shampoo & extraction, and engine detail. The car was as close to factory fresh as I could make it.
Then it was time for the car show itself. We had a great time there, and hope to be back for 2025. And it’s all for a great cause, with all proceeds going to Camp Phoenix.
